Deadline 25.2.2025 - Designing Possible Futures 2nd edition

Dedicated to young architects under 35 and to university students (enrolled in degree courses in design, architecture, engineering or similar) and with the media partnership of Professione Architetto, the Competition will challenge participants to design a flexible and sustainable multifunctional building destined to become a meeting and exchange place where Art, Crafts, Education and Culture Enogastronomy coexist in a logic of circular economy that enhances local producers and high craftsmanship and promotes their culture and tradition through annual events. The deadline for submitting your project application is 25 February 2025. By the first week of March 2025, a Jury of Excellence will select the three most deserving projects awarded in a public ceremony at Triennale Milano.  

The three competition winners will participate in a week-long workshop at Casa Albini in Aglientu, Sardinia. It is here that they will be led to explore a new approach to design through the Method of the great Maestro Franco Albini, which will lead them̀ to break down individual projects into parts, search for their essence and recompose them into a single collective project born in co-creation. As in a creative reality show, the experience will be documented in a docufilm.
